Home Euthanasia Service:

Euthanasia of a beloved pet can be very traumatic for everyone involved. When euthanasia is necessary, we recommend that it be performed in the comfort of the pet's home and planned in advance.  Home euthanasia is usually a very humane and peaceful experience for the pet.  It also provides the pet owner with the opportunity to grieve for their pet in a private setting.  Home euthanasia is scheduled by appointment.  The cost for this service is $150 with The Housecall Veterinarian.  We recommend that you consider how you would like your pet's remains handled after the euthanasia and make arrangements in advance for home burial, cemetary burial, or cremation.  These services are available locally for a reasonable price and pick-up services are often provided.  Please consult your yellow pages for local options.  Emergency euthanasias are referred to the local emergency clinic for an immediate end to a patient's suffering.  She does not perform emergency euthanasia.

Surgical and Dental Services:

"The Housecall Veterinarian" is unable to provide surgical and dental services. If these services are necessary for your pet, Dr. Zink is happy to recommend a qualified and equipped veterinary hospital in your area.
